Anyone considering retirement for this year 09-10, you should contact Jim Mepham directly.
The offer for retirement this year is as follows:
"$12,500 cash for employees with 25 or more years in TRS and $7500 cash for those with 20-25 years service. When applied to option one in TRS the 12,500 can amount to around $26,000 cost to the District (depending on age and number of years). If there is anyone (I know of two) who is still considering for this year please have them talk to me asap. The Board will act on the two at the February board meeting. Any incentives or contract language for future year will be discussed during collective bargaining negotiations for our upcoming contract. We should have this discussion before March Board meeting.
