Meeting Minutes
Date: Wednesday, September 28, 2016
Members Present: Stephanie McDuffie, Jennifer Hall, Rob Reynolds, Wade VanNess, Ann Newell, Angela Price, Corina Henrie, Shelly Moen
Mrs.Hall will distribute MEA calendars to the middle school. Wade will distribute calendars to the high school staff. I will distribute the calendars to the elementary staff.
Financial Report: Mrs. Hall - We have $8,986 in our account with a couple of outstanding checks to operate on. We used Heather, Shelly, and Margie for negotiation and compensated them for their time.
We put an ad in the newspaper every year at the cost of $78 dollars. We will continue to do so, but we may change the format.
We discussed having a get together in November. Maybe an appreciation/meeting. Ann Newell will organize the event. Rob will follow up will Ann by the end of October. Ann will contact a few local places to find the perfect place to host the event.
Corina- Scholarships are all completed for this year. Everything has been changed to a check book. Corina and Jennifer both can view the checking account. We need to decide what to do with a $1,200 dollar CD. The small cd we will pull it out and roll it into the larger CD. John Leonard suggested to Cornia meeting with Raymond James to discuss what to do with the larger CD. (over $70,000).
Teacher Evaluation- Rob and the EPAS committee had a meeting with administration. Discussed tech challenges with collecting walk-thru evals. Showed them how to collect info more easily. One minor change to Eval doc was made. Announced Observation was changed to Full Observation.
Recruiting new staff members- We need to have the a list of new certified staff members.
I will give a list of nonmembers certified staff to Rob. See volunteers to recruit new members.
