Yes, it's been awhile since our first general meeting. We had quite a few items presented on our agenda and everyone has been busy and progress on things has been slow. With the holidays rapidly approaching I don't believe a general members' meeting would be well attended, but do want to give all an update on where things are since our last meeting.
Agenda Items Update:
- Highway- We Got'r done, thanks to all the folks who graciously volunteered their Saturday Morning. We are still looking for the signs that designate our stretch of highway, and will plan another clean-up event for the Spring.
- Staff T-Shi"r"ts - Glad to provide laughter throughout the district. I can hardly wait for the gag-gifts. Love you guys!! On a more serious note: We are hoping to get shirts delivered within the month. With any luck, before break x) There have been numerous set-backs, mostly in coordinating a group of people to make decisions and research information about options. We did not open this up for general discussion and voting simply because of logistics. We hope that you will like what the committee has chosen, and besides...they're free.
- Building Stewards-If you have questions regarding TVEA see your building steward Elementary-Stephanie McDuffie, Middle School-Carrie Holder, High School-Shelly Clark They might not have all the answers, but they will find the people that do. Thanks for volunteering, ladies.
- Grievance Committee - Have not had anyone come to us with an official grievance, but we are still looking for members to be standing members of this committee. If you are willing to be part of this group. Contact Angela our unit secretary.
- Flower Person - We have sent flowers to numerous staff members already this year. Remember Amanda Anderson is the official flower orderer now. Only orders placed by Amanda will be paid for by TVEA.

- Conference Dinner-Pizza and sandwiches were provided by TVEA during conferences.
